CHILD SUPPORT "OPPRESSION"?

Heres a great discussion, is child support "Oppression"? Well lets take look at it.
First lets look at the definition of oppression:

1.the exercise of authority or power in a burdensome, cruel, or unjust manner.
2.an act or instance of oppressing.
3.the state of being oppressed.
4.the feeling of being heavily burdened, mentally or physically, by troubles, adverse conditions, anxiety, etc.

WOW on that note lets take a deep breath.... for those of you going thru this.
They can take up to 50% or more of a person check...What? OH yes is some states this is true. How can they possibly feel someone can live on 50% of there check, let alone try to start a new relationship... geeze its like you never left the old relationship, even at 25% that is way too much. lets look at some numbers for those of you that like to see numbers. Lets say you make an average income about $30,000 a yr thats about.. for math purposes lets say $600 a week minus $150 (25% of 600) equals $450. now you might say oh thats not that bad but wait lets not forget about UNCLE SAM! and taxes are not taken on $450 but on the the WHOLE $600, like that was alot of money in the first place. So another 25% gone that leaves a whopping 300 dollars to pay rent, eat and put gasoline in your car. Lets also look at this; you have now gone from an income of aproximately $1800 a month to about $1200, or better yet you have now gone from making $15 per hr to $7 per hr, YIKES! So then people say oh just get a better job, well as we all know that's easier said than done and anyway that just mean you cut a bigger check to your "EX". Oh to my "EX" some might be saying, oh no that money goes to your kids, lol. Kids is in bold because they are just that kids, and they dont touch that money, so how do i know they are using it? No one knows how the money is getting spent or if the kids really need that much, either way that is for another discussion, back to oppression. $1200 what can you do with that; exactly absolutely nothing but barely get by and this goes on for how many yrs..18. Also for some of you who might not know it really doesn't stop there. The laws also state that if the kid(s) want to go to college you will be participating in that also, there is no option. thats another 5 yrs or more. So if you have a kid at lets say 30 and then 18 yrs + 5 yrs, you will be 53 when you are done with the government obligating your pockets, what? what about my retirement oh yeah my social security has my back, yeah right. and we still havent talked about what if you want to start another family. Hence the saying "cheaper to keep her". Come on people if this isn't oppression then i dont know what is! Can you say the feeling of being heavily burdened, mentally or physically, by troubles, adverse conditions, anxiety, etc. You had a baby, you didnt commit a crime, a "normal" life should not be taken from you.
